Simit · last updated 17 October 2026

In short: Simit has no ads, no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. We count anonymous play statistics to see whether the game is fun. Players never give their real name, email or phone number. The game never uses the microphone or camera. Solo levels work without any account.

What we store

Anonymous play statistics

To learn whether players enjoy the game and come back, the browser makes a random id (not linked to the nickname) and sends a few events: the game was opened, a level was started, cleared or failed, the Plaza or a friends room was entered, and one tick per minute of active play. It also notes how that first visit started (a friend's room link, a Plaza link, the website it came from, or direct).

On our server we keep, per random id, the days it played, the minutes played and the highest level cleared, plus daily totals. No name, nickname, IP address or chat text is part of these statistics, and nothing is shared with anyone. Day-by-day records are deleted after 120 days, and ids not seen for a year are deleted. Clearing the browser's site data makes a new id.

On the device itself the game remembers progress, settings and the nickname key in the browser's local storage. Nothing is shared with advertisers or sold.

How we keep children safe

No filter is perfect. Please talk with your child about never sharing personal details online, and about telling you if something feels wrong.

Deleting data

In the game, open My account and tap Delete my nickname and scores. The nickname, password, saved progress, scores and its reports are deleted immediately. Chat messages disappear within 30 days. To remove what is saved on the device, clear the browser's site data for this website.
